This dataset contains both numerical simulation data and experimental data describing the swelling behaviour of binary particle systems. Detailed study on the swelling behaviour is presented in a journal paper entitled "DEM-CFD analysis of swelling behaviours of binary particle systems with a microscopic diffusion mode".
